11.22.63, Is it back for another season?

But what if you get a chance to do so? 11.22.63 is all based on such events. After all, this story and the production was very much appreciated for its work, thriller, and adaptation. By seeing such success and positive reviews from the critics it was expected that the makers will elongate the series with a second season. However, it’s still under suspense now.

11.22.63 is an American thriller, science fiction miniseries created by J. J. Abrams, Stephen King, Bridget Carpenter, and Bryan Burk. It is also produced by James Franco, who also had the lead role in this series. This series is based on the novel 11.22.63 written by Stephen King which was released in 2011. 11.22.63 was premiered on Hulu on February 15, 2016, which was a great success on its own.

Cast

James Franco played the lead role of Jake Epping / James Amberson. He was much appreciated for his work and received a lot many compliments. Other main roles were played by Chris Cooper as Al Templeton, Sarah Gadon as Sadie Dunhill, Lucy Fry as Marina Oswald, George MacKay as Bill Turcotte, Daniel Webber as Lee Harvey Oswald. Other cast members include – Cherry Jones, Kevin J. O’Connor, T. R. Knight, Josh Duhamel, Joanna Douglas, Nick Searcy, Jonny Coyne, Tonya Pinkins, Brooklyn Sudano, Leon Rippy, Juliette Angelo, and Braeden Lemasters.

Synopsis

This series revolves around the life of Jake Epping, an English teacher from Lisbon who was suffering from the outcomes of a recent divorce. He gets a chance to travel back in time to 1960 by his friend, Al Templeton. He was taken off for an attempt to prevent the assassination of the President of the United States of America, John F Kennedy, which happened on November 22, 1963.

However, he gets attached to his life there and it becomes an obstacle in his mission. He secretly tries to get all the information about the people and the events that were going to be involved in the assassination. It was also a difficult task for him to create and maintain a secret identity to avoid and suspicion.

11.22.63 season 2 update

As dated today, there’s not an official update for the next season of 11.22.63. However, Creators are receiving a lot of demands and requests for a new season but still, there’s nothing clear about it. The writer and the producer of this series, Stephen King, once said in an interview that he had some ideas regarding the next season but it’s much better not to continue this series again. Therefore, it would be too early to decide its fate.
