13 Reasons Why Season 4: Release Date, Cast and Updates!
Published
5 years agoon

The American teen drama 13 Reasons Why will be coming back on 5 June,2020 on Netflix. After the three seasons of mysteries, this time they will unravel a new one: Was Monty framed? After the death of Bryce, things started messing up and hidden, dark secrets started surfacing. With every season, the show discovers the nasty workings of the human mind and how cruel and heinous one can be.
The Netflix series has got the most controversial criticisms. Adapted from the book of the very same name by Jay Asher, the story talked about the death, rather a suicide, of a girl named Hannah Baker, who was bullied and molested several times by the students of her high-school. One by one incidents started to pile up, in her words, “formed a large snowball”, which kept rolling and crushed her one day. There are few scenes which are harmful to any human emotion, especially those with a fragile heart. For instance, where Hannah was drowned in a blood bath in her home, or when Bryce raped her and Jessica. The book and show was started to spread awareness about mental health and the bullying system in American high schools, and how one behaviour can change someone’s life. It taught how to be considerable to each other and show empathy. The tape cassettes recorded by her talked about her perspectives and the things she went through. How unknowingly the other students listed on the tapes destroyed her life step by step. From a silly rumour to the death of a person, circumstances can change instantly.
On the other hand, when the show’s motive was to spread awareness, it also caused mental sickness within many viewers. Many said that they felt uncomfortable at times and made them visit the traumatising events they might have faced in school. Even though it’s a fictional story, but is very much inspired from the real life. The school life showed through the rose-tinted glasses was shattered immediately and displayed the actual teenage life; vulnerability, fragility, exposure, misjudgement and impulsiveness.
The series is produced by Anonymous Content and Paramount Television with Selena Gomez, McCarthy, Joy Gorman, Michael Sugar, Steve Golin, Mandy Teefey, and Kristel Laiblin serving as executive producers. On August 1, 2019, it was announced that the series had been renewed for a fourth one.
The show stars Dylan Minnette as Clay, Christian Navarro as Tony, Alisha Boe as Jessica, Brandon Flynn as Justin, Miles Heizer as Alex, Ross Butler as Zach, Timothy Granaderos as Monty, Grace Saif as Ani, Devin Druid as Tyler and Katherine Langford as Hannah and many more.
A brown girl who is a homebody and still figuring out the twists and turns of life.
