For all the fans of 9-1-1, the good news is FOX has officially renewed the series for a fourth season in April 2020. 9-1-1 Season 4 will be coming back with a bang. But the bad news is that FOX has also confirmed that there will a delay in its release date due to the COVID19 situation. The coronavirus pandemic has made it difficult for the productions to resume on time for a lot of other shows too. Season 2 and 3 of 9-1-1 aired on September 23 in 2018 and 2019. Now the question is will it be able to keep the same time slot for the fourth season?
About the show in general:
Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchukand, and Tim Minear, 9-1-1- season 1 first premiered on January 3, 2018. The genre is a procedural TV Series. Inspired by real-life encounters, this series focuses on the lives of Los Angeles firefighters, police officers, and paramedics who risk their lives to save common people.
Also, the storyline of the fourth season is going to fresh and, “the characters on the screen will have gone through what the audience has gone through. There may be flashbacks that will show what our people went through at the height of the [pandemic], but by the time we resume physical production, that means the world will have figured out how to start opening for business again.” says Minear in an interview when asked about season 4.
