A.P. Bio is an American comedy series that first premiered on March 1, 2018 on NBC. The show focuses on an ex-Harvard professor who moves to Toledo, Ohio to teach biology at a high school. NBC cancelled the show after the first two seasons; however, it was picked up by Peacock soon after. The third season was released on September 3, 2020. Is the show worth watching? Read more to find out!

A.P. Bio: Plot and Cast

Jack Carson Griffin, the protagonist of the show, gets passed over for a tenure at Harvard University. Instead of him, another philosophy professor, Miles Leonard, gets tenure. This makes Griffin extremely jealous and although he is forced to move to Ohio and rethink his life, he chooses to focus on his failures.

He gets a job as an Advanced Placement Biology professor at Whitlock High School in his hometown, Toledo, OH. However, he tells his students that they will have to study the material on their own. Instead, he makes them help him get revenge on Miles.

He first makes a plan where the students attempt to catfish Miles on social media. The plans get more absurd as time goes on. Principal Ralph Durbin tries to get Griffin on track and away from this absurdity.

In the second season, Griffin takes a more self actualising route and tries to write a new philosophy bestseller. He focuses his book on the people of Toledo and how they stay happy in their daily lives.

Glenn Howerton plays ex-Harvard professor Jack Griffin, whereas Tom Bennett plays Miles Leonard, his rival. Patton Oswalt plays Principal Ralph Durbin and Paula Penn plays Helen Demarcus, his secretary. Aparna Brielle, Nick Peine and Allisyn Ashley Arm play Griffin’s students in his biology class.

A.P. Bio Season 3: Release Date and Trailer

Peacock Entertainment released the third season of A.P. Bio on September 3, 2020! It has eight episodes, each about 22 minutes long. We look forward to seeing more of Jack Griffin’s ridiculous antics!
