Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 7: New Episodes, Trailer and More!

ABC’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D aired its last season on May 27^th, 2020, and here are all the updates you need! The ongoing series has so far released 5 episodes of the final season and the promo of the upcoming episode called “ADAPT OR DIE”.

Release Date

This hardcore and super gripping Marvel series have always left its fans on their toes. So, the upcoming episodes are presumed to be nothing short of suspense and action-packed. The time-traveling series just released the trailer of its upcoming episode  “ADAPT OR DIE”.

The 6^th episode will be releasing on the 1^st of July 2020, so get that popcorn popping!!

PLOT

The last episode “A trout in the milk”  which aired on 24^th June 2020, had left the fans at a cliff-hanger and certainly curious. The episode panned out in 1973, wherein Mack and Yo-Yo dropped by the Lighthouse and the rest of the team traveled back in time to 1930  to catch up with Enoch. This episode also throws light on how the team discovered a way to terminate the problematic Chronicons’ latest agenda. But something horrible happened, the S.H.I.E.L.D in order to annihilate Project Insight, had to disclose their location. This led to the team travel into the future which was problematic for them. However, to some fans, it seems that the S.H.I.E.L.D is still in their timeline.

Fan Theories

The last episode left the MCU fans in doldrums about the uncertainty of how the show would progress in the upcoming episodes. It had also led them to explore some crazy fan theories.

1. Possible Avengers crossover– There are speculations that Captain America might make a cameo in one of the upcoming episodes, to give some more context to the cameo made by AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D in the Avengers Endgame.
2. The resurrection of Phil Coulson– MCU fans adored Coulson throughout the series up until his death. The possibility of Clark Gregg joining the team again has all of us spinning in our chairs.
3. Deke’s character will be more fleshed out– Some fans speculate that Deke and Daisy would be romantic interests. With season 5 throwing a lot of light on Deke’s character and life, we realize how important his role is in the TV series.

Updates

ABC has officially released the date of the 7^th episode as well. The episode is named “The Totally Excellent Adventure of Mack and D” and will be streaming on the 8^th of July 2020. The name of the episode gives the fans enough insight to rack their brains for any possibilities of plot-twists. Mack, in the past, had to choose between HYDRA and S.H.I.E.L.D, he picked the latter but could this episode be a spin-off and show him as a betrayer? Or are D and him planning on tackling some issue at hand?
