Directed by Rarecho, Aggretsuko is a Japanese animated comedy streaming television series, which is also known as the original Japanese title Aggressive Retsuk. The show is made on the eponymous character created by “Yeti” for the mascot company Sanrio.
The producers of the show include Kelly Luegenbiehl, Kaata Sakamoto, Taro Goto, Yoichiro Shimomura, Miyuki Okumura, Akira Takayama, and Yasue Mochizuki. The show has been developed for Netflix and the fifth season is soon coming there.

Aggretsuko Plot and Cast
The main focus of Aggretsuko is on the lead character and her attempts as she tries to achieve happiness along with balancing her life as she struggles with a demanding supervisor and the pressure of working for long hours. However, Retsuko’s covert pastime, which is death metal karaoke, offers one outlet for her annoyance. Retsuko then discovers peace in a karaoke club where she expresses her frustration with the help of heavy metal music.
Coming to the characters, it includes Retsuko voiced by Kaolip, Director Ton voiced by Souta Arai, Fenneko voiced by Rina Inoue, Haida voiced by Shingo Kato, Director Gori voiced by Maki Tsuruta, Ms. Washimi voiced by Komegumi Koiwasaki, Tsunoda voiced by Rina Inoue, and many more are there.
Aggretsuko Release Date
The first season of the show was released on Netflix in April 2018. Later on, the show got renewed for three more seasons which were released in 2019, 2020, and 2021 respectively. One more season is yet to be out.
After receiving a positive responses from the viewers, the makers have renewed the show for a fifth season, which will be the final season. The fifth season is scheduled to be released on February 16, 2023, on Netflix.
