Alaska Daily is an upcoming television drama series created by the infamous Oscar-winning screenwriter, actor, and director Tom McCarthy. Alaska Daily: Plot and Cast
The story revolves around Eileen Fitzgerald, a brilliant, skillful, and award-winning investigative journalist from New York who relocates to Alaska for a new start, following a mishap at her old place that could have cost her her precious career. In search of both, professional and personal redemption, Eileen joins a daily metro newspaper in Anchorage, offered to her by Stanley Cornik, an editor at the new place who worked with her 20 years ago. At her new job she lands a long-held case of a missing woman’s death who was kidnapped when during her teenage years. As and when Elieen proceeds with the investigation, she discovers certain clues that add more angles to the case and accounts for the reasons of the police and the courts not being active in pronouncing justice.
