The Korean series will be a union between the well loved genres of k-drama and zombie fiction, thus providing the best of both worlds in an action packed tv series. The show is adapted from a popular webtoon of the same name by Joo Dong-geun. The show is directed by Lee Jae-kyoo with Chun Sung-il as the screenplay writer. The series will follow the story of some high school students waiting for rescue after their school is over ran by zombies following a viral out break. All Of Us Are Dead: Plot and Cast
According to Netflix, “All of Us Are Dead is about a group of high school students who are faced with an extreme crisis situation when they become trapped in their school, while a zombie virus spreads like a wildfire.”
IMDB summaries the plot as follows:
“Trapped in a virus-ridden school with no cellphones, no food, and nobody to take care of them, the students reach for desk lamps, bookshelves, and bows to defend themselves from zombies In a desperate fight for survival.”
Thus we can see that the series has quite a fresh take on the classic zombie genre.
As for the cast, Yoon Chan-young will play Chung-san, Park Ji-hoo as On-jo, Choi Yi-hyun as Nam-ra and Yoo In-soo as Yoon Gwi-nam. Viewers will definitely recognize another cast member Lee Yoo-mi who played Ji-yeong aka Player No. 240 in the global hit Netflix series Squid Game. Thus with such big names involved, the series will no doubt be a great watch.
