Alleged official Galaxy S10 Plus render surfaces online

Samsung is all geared up for the launch if its Galaxy S10 series on February 20. Ahead of its launch, the supposed official renders of the higher variant, the Galaxy S10 Plus surfaced online. The details match with the previously leaked CAD renders.

Galaxy S10

From the leaked render, we can see the cut-out dual selfie cameras placed on the top right of the phone. The purpose of the second camera is still unknown, but we hope it is a wide-angle selfie camera. The bezels are smaller than its predecessor Galaxy S9 Plus which will lead to a higher screen-to-body ratio. The Infinity display is likely to be an AMOLED panel with a QHD+ resolution.

The rear of the smartphone is shown in some kind of white pearl color option with faint red and blue hues. There is a horizontally placed triple camera set up at the rear next to a LED flash and a heart-rate monitor that the company has been using since the Galaxy S5. There is no visible fingerprint sensor which means it will be an under display one. The in-display fingerprint sensor is rumored to be developed by the company from scratch and use ultrasonic waves.

Previous rumor claims that the Iris scanner is likely to be shelved and it doesn’t look like the design will be able to support an Iris scanner for biometric authentication. The Samsung Galaxy S10 will be available in 3 variants: a regular variant with 6.1-inch display, a Plus version with a 6.8-inch display and a flat variant with a 5.8-inch display. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 in the US while the other markets will get the Exynos 9820 version. A 5G supported variant is also expected to be available.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 launch will take place on February 20 but is expected to go on sale from March 8.
