Amazon Game Studios New Game: The New World

New World will be a new entry to the multiplayer online game. The game will release in August 2020. The beta release date is already delayed by a month. The genre of the game will be MMO. The game will not have any monthly subscription fees. You have to combine skill and strength in melee combats, attack range, and master the arcane attacks. The player will hunt beasts for food and materials. To fuel your ascent to power you will have to harvest valuable resources as well. The expected release date of the New World is 25 August 2020. You can also get your hands on the beta version or pre-order the game on steam. The game will be available only for Windows 10 as of now but later it can also release on Xbox One too.

Gameplay

New World will give players an open-world experience. The players will drop into the wilderness of Aeternum. It is a mysterious island that exists during the exploration age of the 17th century. You will read more about Aeternum further in the same article. The task of the players is to conquer the island along with the rival participants. The island provides opportunities for soldiers, artisans, and builders. The game will be a massive battle featuring 100 players in combat. The players will have the ability to customize their own homes, progress character, and help them to survive on the island. Players can play together or alone. Pre-ordering the game will also give you access to the closed beta version of the game.

Editions

The game has three editions- Standard, deluxe and steelbook. The deluxe edition will cost $40 on the official Amazon store. You will get Isabella’s amulet, the Fist bump emote, a guild crest set, and the “Expedition One” unique title if you pre-order this edition. The deluxe edition will cost $10 More than the standard edition i.e. $50 will be the cost of the deluxe edition. It includes the Woodsman armor skin, Woodsman hatchet skin, Mastiff house pet, Rock/Paper/Scissors emote set, and the New World digital art book. Steelbook edition will cost $60 it will be a limited edition including a collector’s map of Aeternum the world of the New World also it will include all the features if the Deluxe edition.

Aeternum

The island is a supernatural frontier. It is rich in a powerful substance known as Azoth. Life in the New World is a harsh contest of survival and only the brave can hope to fight back. The corruption corrupts life it comes into contact with various degrees.

PVP Mode

The player will have both PVE and PVP attacks on the territories. But this will be a little different than other PVP games. You cannot just attack a player’s territory free for all. The player has to join one of the three factions then they can team up with some players and wage a war. The mode will have 50 players on each side. The Governor is the leader of the company and claims a territory, and he gets to choose who gets in the war. The system of this mode is a bit complex as compared to other games. The new world will allow the character to gain proficiency.

There are three categories in the game- Core attributes, trade, and weapon mastery. Core attributes will allow you to allocate points and will be a huge influence on your character’s effectiveness. It will impact your performance against enemies in the world. Trade Skills allow characters in the New World to accommodate their crafting skills like Jewel Crafting and engineering. Weapons Mastery offers a whole lot of freedom, you can master every weapon, with each weapon having two skills tress to allow for customization.
