Amazon’s shooter Crucible: Release date, trailer and more!

Crucible, a free-to-play shooter video game developed by Amazon. The game is now blended with shooting and role-playing together to make it more lively and interesting. The game was introduced during a twitch event back in 2016 without many details.

The game was developed over a time, which Louis Castle, a member of Amazon’s Relentless game studio said, “It’s the active involvement of hundreds and hundreds of people over very long periods of time that gets to a great product. Thankfully, we’re with a company that has the resources to let this new team fully gel and get a great expression out there.”, on the slow and steady development of the game.

Crucible is now considered to be a great project when it comes to MOBA and is said to have similarities with games like Overwatch and Valorant. The game is based on an alien-hunter shooting where the player can choose if they want to play the role of a hunter or that of an alien. As of now, a trucker named Earl and a robot botanist known as Bugg is introduced.

The interesting part of the game lies in the players buffing up their abilities by collecting an RPG element named Essence. The three primary modes: Heart of the Hives, Harvester Command, and Alpha Hunters, needs to be passed. Just like the release of other popular video games like Fortnite, Call of Duty, etc, the release of Crucible is also awaited which is expected to be Amazon’s big online release. The release was initially planned for March but due to the unexpected pandemic, the release is rescheduled to the 20th of May, 2020 via Steam, though the console ports information is not yet notified.
