Spitzer is also the executive producer alongside Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor, Jeffrey Blitz, and Eric Login. The series is produced by Spitzer Holding Company, Kapital Entertainment, and Universal Television. In May 2022, the series was renewed for a second season.

American Auto Plot and Cast

At the nerve center of a major American automotive company in Detroit, a floundering group of executives tries to rediscover the company’s identity amid a rapidly changing industry. Completely out of place, Katherine Hastings, erstwhile CEO of a pharmaceutical company, juggles her leadership career when she joins the Detroit automobile manufacturer Payne Automobiles as CEO.

Hastings was not an obvious choice for the CEO position in an automobile company as she has no intrigue in or knowledge of automobiles. She doesn’t even know how to drive and holds a driving license that is not valid! Throughout the series, she stands out as the black sheep through her statements and decisions while in the company. Interestingly she is the first CEO who is not of the Payne family blood.

Now coming to the cast, includes Ana Gasteyer, who plays Katherine, stars in the series alongside Jon Barinholtz as Wesley, Harriet Dyer as Sadie, and Humphrey Ker as Elliot, And Michael B. Washington As Cyrus. Ana has banked a stellar prominence as an ace scene-stealer and ludicrous force who enlivened every project she appeared with her unique, offbeat energy over the years, and American auto is not an exception.

American Auto Season 2 Release Date

NBC has given the go-ahead for Season 2 of freshman light entertainment American Auto. The last episode for the first season was televised over two months ago, so this announcement is surely a welcome one for fans of the sitcom. For now, Season 2 should premiere sometime in 2023.

The running time of each episode of the series American Auto ranges around 22 minutes. There is no update about the number of episodes in the second season of the series American Auto but grab some popcorn or your favorite snack.
