American Horror Stories Season 2: Release Date, Cast and more!

Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, American Horror Stories is an American anthology horror television series. The series premiered on July 15, 2021, and serves as the third installment in the American Story media franchise, a direct spin-off from American Horror Story. It received mixed reviews from critics. Murphy and Falchuk are also the executive producers alongside Alexis Martin Woodall, John J. Gray, Loni Peristere, and Manny Coto.

On May 11, 2020, Murphy revealed that a spin-off series to American Horror Story was being developed. He stated that it would feature self-contained anthological episodes, instead of a season-long story arc as featured in American Horror Story. On August 13, 2021, FX renewed the series for a second season.

American Horror Stories Plot and Cast

The makers have not yet revealed much about the plot of American Horror Stories Season 2. Since it is an anthology, we can definitely expect that it will explore new things.

The first season focused on the Murder House storyline and the upcoming season might revisit any one of the ten seasons of American Horror Story. The new season could possibly explore Briarcliff Manor, the Florida Freak show and also Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies.

The cast members expected to return includes Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Chloë Sevigny, Dylan McDermott, Taissa Farmiga, Connie Britton, Clea DuVall, Fredric Lehne, Barbara Tarbuck and others. However, the mentioned names are not confirmed yet and are derived from internet sources.

American Horror Stories Season 2 Release Date

Season 1

American Horror Stories was renewed for a second season in 2021. The makers have officially announced that the show is going to premiere on July 21, 2022.

For now, we can expect a new season might come with seven episodes like the previous season with the same runtime. Further details will be disclosed once the show premieres.
