WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE FOR SEASON 19 OF AMERICAN IDOL?
Seasons 16 and 17 of American Idol both premiered in early March, while Season 18 premiered in mid-February. ABC is yet to disclose the release dates for the debut of the 19th season of American Idol but we can expect the show to premiere somewhere around Spring 2021.

I have some really excellent news for you guys! They’re all coming back! The three judges, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan will be back on the show for their 4th consecutive year. The Covid-19 pandemic separated the trio in 2019 as the live shows had to be filmed remotely from everyone’s homes, so we can’t wait to see them all together again at the same table and grace us with their wit and poise.

It would not be American Idol without Ryan Seacrest, so I am delighted to tell you that he is back to host the 19th season of the show. He has been on the show as a host since the day one of the show and was swift to sign the contract again when the show returned on ABC.
