Created by Ana de la Reguera, Ana is a comedy-drama television series, produced by Argos Comnicacion and Viacom International Studios. The first season of the show premiered on April 20, 2020.
It has received mixed reviews from critics and has been rated 5.6/10 on IMDb. Despite the mixed response, the show has been renewed for a second season, which is scheduled to premiere soon. Reguera is also the executive producer and it originally aired on Comedy Central alongside being made available to all of Latin America in Amazon Prime Video.

Ana Plot and Cast
While speaking to Deadline back in 2021, de la Reguera said that she is happy to continue sharing the story and that the audience received it as per their expectations. She said that the next two seasons will be a lot of fun and thanked VicaomCBS, Amazon Prime Video and Pantaya for all the trust since the beginning of the project.
Reguera mentioned that they allowed her to grow a lot as a creator and she would be infinitely grateful to them. In the upcoming season, Ana would try to keep her sanity and continue to deal with her mother who now lives with her mother in Los Angeles and appearing in a TV series of bad 90s sitcoms. The third season would focus on Ana rebuilding her life and regain her credibility as an actress.
Coming to the cast, we should get to see Ana de la Reguera, Tina Romero, Paulina Davila, Tom Parker, Carlos Miranda, Eduardo “Lalo” Espana, Paly Duval, Salvador Sanchez, Ali Gardoqui, Augusto Gardoqui and Andres Almeida.
Ana Season 2 Release Date
It’s been a long time since Ana Season 1 premiered on different streaming platforms. Considering that, the second season of the series should premiere sometime in 2022.
The new season should consist of ten episodes like Season 1, although an official confirmation is awaited. The makers are yet to reveal other details related to Season 2.
