Apex Legends: Season 5 comes up with a New Character, Release date and more!

EA and developer Respawn Entertainment have revealed the primary details about Apex Legends Season 5 – Fortune’s Favor. As before, this season will feature a mixture of the latest characters, items, and gameplay alterations. it’ll also see the return of the recently introduced “Splits” ranked play system. Essentially, that system sees players compete to enhance their in-game ranking via two split seasons of play that happen across the game’s two existing maps. you’ll find more details that the system via this blog post.

Gameplay

This season also will introduce a replacement gameplay mode called Quests. It seems like this mode will see players search for in-game treasures that they’ll need to locate via a series of hints. It seems players are going to be ready to earn incredible rewards once they’ve found these treasures, but we’re still waiting on more details regarding this new gameplay mode.

Apex Legends Season 5 is predicted to release for all available platforms on May 12th,2020.

Apex Legends Season 5 New Character

In a brand-new Stories from the Outlands, Legacy of a Thief, Apex Legends developer Respawn confirmed that the lass that Revenant orphaned within the Season 4: Assimilation launch trailer is Loba Andrade. The talented thief is going to be added as Apex Legends’ next playable character in Season 5: Fortune’s Favor alongside a replacement Quests mode.

Like Octane, Wattson, Crypto, and Revenant before her, Loba was datamined before her official reveals, leading to fan speculation that she would ultimately become a playable legend in Respawn’s battle royale game. However, there always was a nugget of doubt, as long as Respawn included character files for Forge as a smokescreen to trick data miners into thinking he would be Season 4’s new character.

Apex Legends Season 5 Trailer

The debut trailer for Apex Legends Season 5 focuses on the origin story of Loba Andrade. While it doesn’t reveal any gameplay details, it’s a desirable check out how she fits into this world.

Loba’s abilities haven’t been detailed yet. However, on the Apex Legends website, Respawn describes the legend as, “Stylish, sophisticated, and resourceful, whatever Loba wants, she takes. Her passive, tactical, and supreme abilities could have something to try to to with finding and stealing loot, which would probably be a strong addition to a battle royale game. We also see her use a tool to quickly teleport, very similar to Wraith, which might be one among her abilities also. That’s all conjecture though as, again, there is no official word on what her abilities are.

Loba and Quests won’t be the sole new additions in Apex Legends Season 5. The upcoming season will see the implementation of a replacement battle pass, which can include the normal collection of things like legendary skins and Apex Packs, but even have brand-new rewards.
