The time has finally come, September is just a few days away. Apple will be hosting an event on September 10 at Steve Jobs theatre in Cupertino, where it is expected to unveil the brand new iPhone 11 series of smartphones. The company has sent out the media invitations this Friday which reads “By innovation only”.

The invitation doesn’t specify what the company plans to announce at the event. But the speculations and rumors propose that Apple will be announcing three new iPhones models there. These three new models are the successors to the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max. We might also see a new naming system that adds the ‘Pro’ moniker to the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max. The three models will feature the same screen resolutions as their predecessors and almost identical display sizes.
Other rumors suggest that the company will offer a slightly bigger 6.1-inch panel on the iPhone 11. Originally, it’s 5.8-inches the previous generation of iPhones. Major changes in this year’s iPhone’s include replacing 3D Touch with Haptic Touch and just like their predecessors they might stick with the lightning port instead of USB Type C. iPhone 11 series of devices will come with the latest and powerful A13 chipset onboard. Both the iPhone 11 and 11 Max including the Pro variant are expected to come with the triple rear camera setup. The R variant is going to come with dual rear cameras.
Moreover, this generation of iPhones could support bi-directional wireless charging, by which users can charge AirPods through their device. Face ID security is upgraded as well. These iPhones will have better water resistance and improved shatter-resistance technology. We might also hear a word about the Apple Watch Series 5 and other upcoming products from the company.
