Archer Season 13: Release Date, Plot and more!

Created by Adam Reed, Archer is an adult animated sitcom made for FX. Reed is also the executive producer alongside Matt Thompson and Casey Willis. The first season of the series premiered back in 2009.

The series ran for eleven more seasons on FX and received mostly positive reviews from critics. It has been praised for its animation, writing, direction and voice acting. Considering the positive response, the makers have already renewed the series for a 13th season.

Archer Plot and Cast

Archer was initially the world’s top secret agent and became a drug smuggler, and then a private investigator. At one point, we saw three seasons taking viewers from a 1920’s L.A. crime scene to on board a galactic spaceship.

The spy comedy roots in the first two seasons that made the fans fall in love with the show. In the previous season, Archer and his gang were competing with the newest spy agency, the International Intelligence Agency (IIA), for espionage contracts to return ISIS to its former glory.

In the final episode of Season 12, it is revealed that ISIS has been sold to IIA and Malory has passed the leader torch to Archer. Archer will now possibly attempt to reestablish ISIS in some way under his leadership. This will definitely lead to all kinds of new misadventures with the gang.

Talking about the cast, we will get to see H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Taylor, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Adam Reed, Amber Nash and others in the lead roles. We can also expect some new cases considering that this is a new season.

Archer Season 13 Release Date

The latest season of Archer premiered on August 25, 2021 and concluded on October 6, 2021. The series was renewed for a 13th season in September 2021 and it should premiere sometime in 2022.

The number of episodes for the upcoming season is not confirmed as it has been different in the first 12 seasons. The series is produced by Floyd County Productions and FX Productions.
