Archer Season 13: Release Date, Trailer and more!

Created by Adam Reed, Archer is an adult animated sitcom set in the anachronistic, Cold War-esque universe and parodies espionage, culture and society, and the human condition.

The first season premiered on September 17, 2009, and 126 episodes have aired in total across the next twelve seasons. The show has been airing on FXX since 2017 and the latest season was released on August 25, 2021. Archer has received positive reviews from critics and it has been renewed for a 13th season, which is set to premiere soon.

Archer Plot and Cast

Archer has now gone from being the world’s top secret agent to a drug smuggler, and then a private investigator. At one point, we saw three seasons taking viewers from a 1920’s L.A. crime scene to on board a galactic spaceship.

The spy comedy roots in Seasons 1 and 2 made the fans fall in love with the show. In the previous season, Archer and his gang were competing with the newest spy agency, the International Intelligence Agency (IIA), for espionage contracts to return ISIS to its former glory.

In the final episode of Season 12, it is revealed that ISIS has been sold to IIA and Malory has passed the leader torch to Archer. Archer will now possibly attempt to reestablish ISIS in some way under his leadership. This will definitely lead to all kinds of new misadventures with the gang.

Talking about the cast for Season 13, we should get to see H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Taylor, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Adam Reed, Amber Nash and others in the lead roles.

Archer Season 13 Release Date

The makers of Archer have not teased a release date for Season 13. Since it is an animated show, we can expect it to release sometime towards the end of 2022.

The number of episodes might be different for the new season as it has been since the beginning. Further information is expected to be out in the next few months.
