Are we getting a second season of ‘Next in Fashion’?

In 1975, a fashion designer said, “Fashions come and go, but style goes on forever.” And the person isn’t wrong to date. Anything around you is in vogue, from simple, casual pajamas to chic, glossy attires, paired with stilettos and accessories. Fashion rolls by every day, every minute, and thus we can say, this is the only change that is permanent. Hence, seeing this deranged world of trend, Netflix came up with the sleek reality show called Next in Fashion, a 10-episodes long show, which premiered in the month of January this year. The series consisted of several fashion designers competing with each other and is hosted by designers Tan France and Alexa Chung. The 18 designers are judged on the basis of their sense of fashion trends and styles that influence what people wear worldwide. The contestants are all professionals who have been dressing celebrities and working with major fashion houses, quite similar to Bravo’s Project Runway.

Next in Fashion is produced by Robin Ashbrook, Yasmin Shackleton, and Adam Cooper. Even though the series had been a hit, especially amidst the fashion designing enthusiasts, yet Netflix canceled it after one season. But there might yet be chances of returning because of the popular demand.

Hailing from England, Tan France started in the industry designing womenswear and kick-started with as the fashion advisor on the Netflix series Queer Eye, a show where five queer guys give full life makeovers to regular people. On the other hand, TV presenter, fashion model, author, and designer, Alexa Chung. She has also been the author of It (2013) and It: Über Style (2014).
