Are you ready for Masters Of Illusion Season 10?

PAX TV launched an amazing TV show named ‘Masters Of Illusion’ in 2000. The show was a huge success. Then it moved to MyNetwork TV in 2009. The TV telecasted four specials. Again in 2014, The CW renewed the show for many seasons with new and exciting episodes. Dean Cain is the host of the show. The show is shot in their studio at Hollywood, California. It features a lot of magicians/illusionists in every season. It also highlights new and bright performers.

Canceled or Renewed?

For more than two years, the decision to start a new season was suspended by The CW. Many have assumed that there is no renewal for a new season. But like a sudden shock, the announcement of the renewal of ‘Masters of Illusion’ for season 10 came, in a happier way. The reason why many thought that the new season will be canceled is the viewership for the show has been reducing drastically. According to a recent study, the viewership dropped by 13% after the eighth season.

What concerned the production team was the slow response from the audience and low ratings although the show is not that costly to produce.

What can we expect from the new season?

While over the years and seasons, many performers staged their skills, the host remained the same all through. It was Dean Cain who became the face of the show. There were 104 total episodes in 9 seasons. So we can expect new and talented illusionists this season who will grab all our hearts.

Also, the Masters of Illusion has been the home of many unique magical skills like perplexing mind magic, hilarious routines, etc. We hope that this new season will bring in all fantabulous categories like sleight of hand, fire-eating, floating objects, mentalists, Grand illusions, and quick changing. Viewers are going to be fascinated by the amazing tricks performed by cutting-edge illusionists and escape artists.

Who are the makers?

The producing company is Associated Television International. The executive producers are David Mc Kenzie, Gay Blackstone, David Martin, Al-Schwartz. ‘Masters of Illusion’ is also co-executively produced by Jim Romanovich.
The CW said in a press release recently, “Masters of Illusion returns for more magical surprises on Friday, May 15 [8.00 pm – 8.30 pm] with back to back original episodes on premiere night”.

The magicians are ready to baffle the audiences- both Live studio audience and TV viewers at home. So why wait? Grab the remotes on May 15 to enjoy the real power of magic.
