Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Release Date and Viking’s Era

Assassin’s Creed is an action-adventure game produced by Ubisoft Montreal and distributed by Ubisoft. It is the first chapter of the Assassin Creed series. The game received mostly favorable feedback. Reviewers praising its storyline, graphics, graphic direction, and originality. Even though the game was often criticized for the repetitive aspect of its gameplay.

Release Date

Ubisoft is yet to reveal the launch date of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. And also to which devices it will be accessible on — whether on Xbox One X and PlayStation 5 consoles.

The Revelation of Viking’s Era

The setting for the next Assassin’s Creed video game was announced in a live stream on Wednesday. Players are moving to the Viking Age of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which introduces Vikings to the world’s leading historic murder simulator. The Viking Age takes place between the ninth and eleventh centuries, approximately 100-400 years before the events of the original Assassin Creed. This latest publication will follow Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in 2018.

Ubisoft hosted an almost four-hour live stream of artist BossLogic working on a piece of art that gradually unveiled the atmosphere of the game. The finished piece of art depicts the bearded narrator of the open-world game carrying a hammer. There are two separate scenes in the background. One portrays Viking ships sailing across frozen seas. The other shows combat in front of a destroyed castle showing what seems to be Saxon warriors.

Valhalla is the latest game in the series since 2018 Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which for the first time introduced a range of new RPG-like concepts to the series. Ubisoft didn’t announce a new title in the series in 2019. Rather they took the opportunity to start promoting Odyssey with patches and focus on the next installment in the series.

The story, background, and protagonist disclosure was not followed by the launch date for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Although with E3 canceled this year due to COVID-19. Supporters of the creed will likely look forward to Ubisoft revealing more detail about the lead character’s assassin adventures in either coming weeks or months.
