Lately, Asus has started sending media invites for a Smartphone launch event which is going to happen on October 17 in Delhi, India. However, the media invites do not reveal much about what new smartphone is going to come on our way. But according to some unnamed source, we might get to see the launch of two new devices from Asus.
Talking about the device, well it is expected that Asus is going to launch ZenFone Max Pro M2 and the ZenFone Max M2 on October 17. Both of these devices are going to follow-up the Asus’s Zenfone Max Pro devices.
Also as long as the prices are concerned, it is said that Asus is going to launch the devices under a budget of Rs.12000 or $162. The devices are going to focus on the low-end smartphone segment and give competition to brands like Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo.
As far as the specifications are concerned, well as of now there are not too much information is available. But it is expected that the devices will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 series SOC as same as the Zenfone Max (M1).
Apart from the SOC, there are no such leaks of the smartphone. But we might get to see a 6GB RAM variant. Also since Zenfone Max (M1) never launched in India, then there might be a pretty high chance that Zenfone Max (M1) will be one of the two devices that going to launch on Oct 17.
However, as of now, there is nothing officially confirmed by Asus. Or they have revealed the smartphone names. So we have to wait for a couple of days more to figure out what Asus is planning for us. Till then let’s just wait and guess that Asus is going to launch.
