Away Season 1: Release Date, Plot, and Updates!
Netflix is about to release a fresh and exciting sci-fi drama series in September 2020. Fortunately, the filming of the show concluded just before the havoc and lockdown in February 2020. Created by Andrew Hinderaker, Away Season 1 is an upcoming Netflix Original which looks full of adventure in the space mingled with family drama. So far, the critic reviews are solid. Away is “stellar” overall, said The AV Club. Viewers are all set to encounter the journey to the Red Star.
Trailer and Release Date of Away:
On July 7th 2020, Netflix announced the release date of the series, that is 4th September 2020. The first season will include 10 power-packed episodes with a runtime of 45 and 60 minutes each episode.
Netflix dropped the teaser of the series on July 7th, 2020. However, the official trailer was released on August 10th 2020 and it looks promising. Take a look at the trailer below:
What is it about?
The story of Away revolves around Emma green, a US Astronut. It is Emma’s journey that we are going to experience as she leads an international space crew on an official three-year-long mission to Mars. This is not just a regular sci-fi series about astronauts and space. Emma has to leave behind her teenage daughter and husband when they need her the most and embark on a treacherous and perilous journey. The series will also reveal the relationship between the various members of the crew.

Who is in it?
The show stars the award-winning American star, Hilary Swank as Emma Green. The other cast members are Ato Essandoh as Kwesi Mark, Ivanir as Misha, Ray Panthaki as Ram, Vivian Wu as Yu, Talitha Bateman as Alexis Logan and Josh Charles as Matt Logan.
