Originally started as an American news website, Axios is a documentary series that began airing on HBO on November 4th, 2018. Emmy® winners Matthew O’Neill and Perri Peltz have directed as well as produced the series. Taylor Krauss, Matthew O’Neill, and Jeff Arak have worked as cinematographers. Mike Allen, Jim VandeHei, and Roy Schwartz along with HBO’s Nancy Abraham and Lisa Heller have contributed as executive producers.

In the past, Axios has aired episodes interviewing people like Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, Sundar Pichai, Elon Musk, Mary Barra, Bill Gates, Tim Cook, Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Andrew Yang, and Kamala Harris with many others as well. The series features interviews with the top leaders and business figures in the spotlight.
The Journalists working in Axios are Jim VandeHei (Co-Founder and CEO), Mike Allen (Co-Founder), Jonathan Swan as National Political Correspondent, Amy Harder as Energy and Climate Reporter, Dan Primack as the Business reporter, Sara Fischer as Media Reporter, Alexi McCammond as Political Reporter, Kim Hart as Cities correspondent, Dion Rabouin as Market Editor and Felix Salmon as Chief Financial Correspondent.

The series had also made a change in their gear after being affected by the covid19 Pandemic and resorted to much safer contactless interviews and implemented social distancing.
