Not every day you come across a colorful Instagram feed dedicated to music. Yes, that’s how Ayoka decorated her feed with bright pictures. As you go down the feed, you will notice the grids are more theme-based, from red to white. That’s how we got to know that she recently released her single “Weekend”. And we couldn’t resist but dig more into her profile and her latest song.

Hailing from Los Angeles, Ayoka is an R&B artist. She lived her life falling head over heels for music and instruments. She devoted her youth training to play five different instruments, and she continued her schooling into her early adulthood. Ayoka began her vocal training while simultaneously being classically skilled.

She received her bachelor’s degree in music education and in psychology. Her continual progress and success in class pushed her to further in her music. She’s been writing music for herself since then, reflecting on her personal experiences. Ayoka’s hard work and commitment already have paid off, with her debut effort, an LP dubbed “Venus,” garnering a lot of attention.
