Basketball Wives season 9: Release date, cast, details and more!
Basketball Wives is an American reality TV show, aired on April 11th, 2010. The show is created by Tom Huffman. Mark Seliga, Shaunie O’Neal, Pam Healey, Amanda Scott, Sean Rankine, and Lisa Shannon have contributed as the executive producers. Warner Bros. Television Studios UK is the production company.

Basketball Wives season 9: Plot and Cast
The series revolves around the lives of a group of women who are wives or romantically linked with people in the professional basketball industry. Starring Royce Reed, Michael Olowokandi’s ex-girlfriend Suzie Ketcham, Matt Barnes’ fiancée Gloria Govan, Eric Williams’ wife Jennifer Williams, Antoine Walker’s ex-fiancée Evelyn Lozada, and Shaquille O’Neal’s ex-wife Shaunie O’Neal.
After the first season, everyone returned in season two with a new face Tami Roman, ex-wife of Kenny Anderson. After drastic changes in the cast in seasons 5 and 6 in the history of the series, the main characters in season 8 remain to be Jennifer Williams, Evelyn Lozada, Shaunie O’Neal, Tami Roman, Jackie Christie, and Malaysia Pargo. Most of them will return in season 9 along with 3 new faces Liza Morales, Nia and Noria Dorsey.

“Family is still a big theme of the show, as O’Neal relocates to Houston, Texas to be closer to her children; Lozada getting ready to move into a new home, and Pargo is ready to teach her own children about police brutality and how to deal with officers of the law. Discussions of systemic racism and Black Lives Matter will be a part of the season in other ways, as well including through Scott’s involvement with the movement”
As seen In the, everyone is masked up. The show will also focus on the ladies tackling the Covid19 Pandemic and the struggles of being of color and fighting for justice during the Black Lives Movement spread throughout the Nation.
