The overwhelming response for Zack Snyder’s version of the ill-fated original “Justice League” is not stopping. All the stars including the hefty bundle of fans are getting excited for the movie’s version to release on HBO MAX. After the news was spread that the disappointing version of “Justice League” had its origin after Zack Snyder’s script and Principal photography was replaced by the studio and Joss Whedon’s version of curated “Justice League”, fans started campaigning for the Snyder’s cut to be released, #Releasethesnydercut started trending. The campaign met its objective and HBO MAX agreed to release the “Snyder’s Cut” somewhere near early 2021 and had allotted a sum of around 20-30 million dollars for the post-production.
Ben Affleck, who played “Batman” in a series of DC films like “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice”, “Suicide Squad” and “Justice League”, recently reacted to the news of “Snyder’s Cut” being released. Ben Affleck talked about the good news on Kevin Smith’s “Fatman Beyond” Podcast.
“I’m very excited that Zack’s getting a chance to finally see his vision realized. I think it’s a great thing. I’m really excited for the fans to get to see it. And I want to say thank you to the fans because it was their enthusiasm and their passion that made it happen. Without fan support, I don’t think it ever would have happened. I love Zack and I love his version of the movie and I look forward to everyone getting a chance to see it.”
This comes as good news to both Affleck and Batman fans as Affleck’s Batman became infamous for the role he played in “Justice League” when Joss Whedon’s version was released, it came as a surprise to fans given Affleck’s multi-dimensional understanding of the character. The “Snyder’s Cut” might do some ‘Justice’ after all to Affleck’s Batman. Although we do not have a confirmed date for “Snyder’s Cut”, yet HBO MAx starts streaming on May 27.
