The former Bachelor star Ben Higgins says that he prefers not being close to his ‘Bachelor’ exes. He says the reason behind it is that it isn’t “healthy”. Read to know more!

JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell are the Bachelor alum’s exes of the show, which Ben thinks he should not be much close with. And he isn’t close either to them. Well, he is true to his beliefs. However, this doesn’t mean he wants bad for them. But, the 31-year-old star wants the best for his exes and is happy to see them wherever they are.

Why Ben Higgins doesn’t keep in touch with his ‘Bachelor’ exes?

Past teaches us lessons, however, they are embarrassing to look back to, aren’t they? Of course, unless and until it’s the proudest thing we did. As for Ben Higgins, he confessed he doesn’t keep in touch with his exes of The Bachelor, which includes JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell as he thinks it isn’t healthy.

As for Lauren, Ben and her dated for more than a year and split in May 2017. After their split, Lauren also went on to date Chris Lane and married him in October 2019.

And Ben is also happy for Lauren when he said – “Not Lauren, we haven’t talked (about the re-airing of the show). She’s married (and) I’m happy for her, and she found her partner.”

“I mean if she reached out saying, ‘Hey, how are you going to handle this? This is what’s sensitive to me …’ I’d like to take that call from her, but I don’t think I’m needed at this moment for her.” – He continued further.

And as for Jojo, she got engaged to Jordan Rodgers during season 12 of The Bachelorette. Ben sure doesn’t keep in touch with Lauren, however, he has talked with JoJo.

For Jojo, he said – “Jojo and I are good friends. I have a lot of respect for her and Jordan. The same kind of thing, if she has a man and a confidant by her side that she probably leans in on. If I saw her, it would be … I actually saw her at the airport last year.”

Also, Ben on keeping in touch with exes says it “wouldn’t be healthy. It’s not smart.”

As for the revisitation of The Bachelor, well, Ben says he wouldn’t be watching it. It’s because he thinks it’d be awkward for her fiance Jessica Clarke to see her would-be husband’s past relationships.

Also, Jessica and Ben are going to get married next year as per Ben himself reported fans with it. In an Instagram post for his love’s 25th birthday 3 days ago. A fan asked him – “Are you and Jessica getting married next year?”
