BH90210 is a reboot of the popular 90s drama television series Beverly Hills 90210. The show aired on Fox from August to September in 2019. It is the sixth television series in the Beverly Hills, 90210 franchise, and the first one to not be in continuity with the rest of the franchise. The cast of the original Beverly Hills 90210 show reunites in this reboot television series, 19 years after they parted ways. Beverly Hills 90210 ran for ten seasons on Fox, from 1990 to 2000.
BH90210 was created by Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Mike Chessler, and Chris Alberghini. It stars the original main cast from Beverly Hills 90210. This includes Gabrielle Carteris, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling, and Ian Ziering. All of them appear as themselves on the show.

BH90210 Season 2: What we know so far
The show premiered on Fox for a six-episode run in August 2019 and ran till September. The show had an average viewership of 2.4 million viewers across its six-episode run. BH90210 was always intended to be a one-time event, as was revealed by Fox entertainment president Michael Thorn.
“We always kind of envisioned it as an event. So we felt like to do it as a short-term event where you could just catch up with these actors that you love and do something that was wildly different was a great way to honour the legacy of the show.”
The show was earlier intended to return for a season 2, showrunner Tori Spelling had said. They even tried to foreshadow a second season with the way they wrote the last episode of season 1. The first season of BH90210 focused more on where these beloved characters were now, 19 years after the original show ended. The second season would have focused more on the reboot, and developing a story based on the characters’ portrayal of themselves.

However, this was not meant to be, as Fox canceled the show after one season. The announcement was made public in November, 2019. Even though fans have demanded for another season of the reboot series, BH90210 will not be returning for a second season.
