Are you a Marvel fan? Well, who isn’t? Marvel Studios have given us the movies that we could cherish our whole lives.
Back in 2018, Marvel Studios introduced us to another superhero ‘Black Panther’. It hit the theatres on 16 Feb 2018 and did an amazing business. The movie was honored with awards like, ‘Academy award for best production design’, ‘Academy Award for best original music score’, and many more huge awards.
The movie was applauded and loved by the fans. The fanbase became huge. And they were waiting to hear from the makers if they will get any updates of the film.
The movie earned $1.3 billion in the first go. The film had high expectations, and it did really well. And hence, now they are back with its sequel. Yes, that’s correct. We are going to watch Black Panther 2 in theaters.
Release Date of Black Panther 2
The President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Drive gave fans the working of the sequel. And since then, they can’t keep calm.
The sequel will hit the theaters in 2022. According to sources, the sequel may release in the summers of the year. So, it looks like we will have to wait two years to watch the second installment of the movie.
The Cast of the Sequel
Who is to be returning for the sequel? So, if you have watched the first part, you’d know the cast most probably. It is said that the cast of the first installment that hit the theaters in 2018 is going to be on the screen. However, along with them, some new characters could add up in the sequel.
Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa a.k.a Black Panther and Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia are going to return for the sequel. Also, Winston Duke as M’Baku and Letitia Wright as Shuri, are returning for the second installment.
Along with that, it is said that we may also see, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Daniel Kaluuya as Kabi. It is also said that Angela Bassett will be seen as Ramonda, T’Challa’s mother.
The Plot
Ryan Coogler will be directing the movie. He also directed the first part of the movie. The story followed the voyage of T’Challa (Black panther). He becomes the king of Wakanda following his dad’s death. All this was in the first part.
The plot of the sequel could be understood by only watching the trailer. We haven’t been blessed with the trailer of the sequel yet. It is said to be released in 2021.
