Black Summer S2: Everything You need to know!!

Another Zombie apocalypse is waiting for revival. This time the zombies are against a dedicated and tenacious mother Rose who can go to any limits to save her daughter. Black Summer wants to present a recipe of zombie horror and emotions mixed. A mother’s love versus hordes of the undead people! The fans can’t wait for the resurrection of zombies in the second season.

What was originally planned as a prequel of Z Nation was modified by the producers to make a series Black Summer.  The show was created by Karl Schaefer and John Hyams. The first season was released on April 11, 2019. The film is set in the early days of a Zombie Apocalypse. The lead actress Jaime King as Rose is estranged from her daughter. The mother must fight the zombies and get to her daughter who is at the Stadium under military control. The story and struggle by Rose form the basic plot for the series.

The series received largely positive reviews from the fans and critics. It was awarded a rating of 6.4 by IMDb.

What is the expected release date for Black Summer S2?

The series was renewed by Netflix for the second season following the success of the first season.  No trailer has been released by Netflix yet.

The filming was already underway by January 2020. But following the current situations, unfortunately, the series is bound to get delayed. The whole world has been badly affected by COVID-19 pandemic and the entertainment industry hasn’t been left untouched.  Although no official confirmation has been given by the producers yet it can be presumed that the show will not release before 2021.
