Bless This Mess stars Lake Bell as Rio, Dax Shepard as Mike, Ed Begley Jr. as Rudy, Pam Grier as Constance, JT Neal as Jacob, David Koechner as Beau Bowman, Lennon Parham as Kay Bowman, and Langston Kerman as Brandon Terry. It follows the story of newlyweds Rio and Mike as they make the decision to move from big city New York to rural Nebraska. After dropping everything (including their jobs and overbearing mother-in-law) to make the move from skyscrapers to farmhouses, they soon realize that the simpler life isn’t as easy as they planned. Rio and Mike must now learn how to weather the storm as they are faced with unexpected challenges in their new life as farmers.
Bless This Mess Season 2 Ratings
The second season of Bless This Mess premiered on September 24, 2019 as a full 20-episode season. The series was only one of three shows on ABC which had more average viewership in the 2019-20 season than the previous season. The second season had a demo rating of 0.67 in the 18-49 demographic, down by a meagre percentage of -0.07% from the first season. The average viewership across the season was 3.63 million viewers, up by 8.5% from the first season. The season, in comparison to other scripted shows on ABC, fared at number 9 in ABC’s list of scripted shows in 2019-20, both in terms of ratings and viewership.
Bless This Mess Season 3 – Is it happening or not?
Unfortunately, there will be no season 3 of Bless This Mess. ABC cancelled the sitcom in May 2020, along with other second year sitcoms Schooled and Single Parents.
