Blood of Zeus Season 2: Release Date, Cast, and more!

Developed by Charley Parlapanides and Vlas Parlapanides, Blood of Zeus is an American adult animated fantasy action streaming television series from Netflix. The first season was released on October 27, 2020.

Charley and Vlas are also executive producers alongside Brad Graeber with their production companies Powerhouse Animation and Asia Minor Pictures. In early December 2020, Netflix renewed the show for a second season. According to the creators, they have planned five seasons.

Blood of Zeus Plot and Cast

Because of the success of Season 1, Charley and Vlas say that the new season will build on those foundations. They said that Heron and Seraphim’s stories will continue in season two, as they did in season one.

Things that happened in the first season that are truly built up in the second half of the series are in the 20-page framework for season 2. It will go back to the time when the brothers divided the world into three regions: the physical, spiritual, and intellectual. In another interview, the Parlapanides brothers reveal that they have a five-season arc in mind if Netflix continues to pick up the show.

Now talking about the cast, most of the characters are expected to return. This includes Derek Phillips as Heron, Jessica Henwick as Alexia, Elias Toufexis as Seraphim, Adam Croasdell as Apollo, and Matthew Mercer as Hermes.

There hasn’t been any word on which actors will be joining the show in the future. In the conclusion of Season 1, Zeus gave his life to defend his wife, Hera. When we last saw Hera, she was in a serious condition, but she managed to get away. She’s probably plotting her next strike.

In any case, since the gods are immortal in a magical realm and can be resurrected, resurrection is not out of the question.

Blood of Zeus Season 2 Release Date

In early December 2020, Netflix renewed a second season for the show, but a release date has not been announced yet. We can still expect it by the end of 2023.

The number of episodes for the upcoming season and their runtime has not been revealed. However, it is expected to have eight episodes like Season 1.
