Written by Nosipho Dumisa-Ngoasheng, Daryne Joshua and Travis Taute, Blood & Water is a South African teen crime drama television series. Dumisa-Ngoasheng, Joshua and Taute are also the executive producers alongside Bradley Joshua, Benjamin Overmeyer and Simon Beesley.
The first season of the show premiered on 20 May 2020, followed by the second season premiered on 24 September 2021. The show received positive responses from critics and audiences. Considering that, the makers have renewed the show for a third season. On 6 April 2022, it was revealed the upcoming season is under production.

There could be more tension between Fikile and Puleng, and their respective romantic relationships. With new faces come new scandals. With the introduction of Sam, Pauline and Zayd, there’s sure to be more drama.
Blood & Water has a great modern take on how it incorporates societal and cultural nuances into the series. It also highlights the way tech and social media have affected human connections. Perhaps the next season will follow on the lines of these themes along with nail-biting mysteries, romances, and shocking twists and turns.
The cast members expected to return includes Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema, Thabang Molaba, Dillon Windvogel, Arno Greef, Ryle de Morny, Natasha Tahane, Mekaila Mathys, Cindy Mahlangu, and Duane Williams. Meanwhile, Gretel Fincham, Katishcka Chanderlal, and Alzavia Abrahams will also return as they had more prominent roles in Season 2.
Blood & Water Season 3 Release Date
The developers has confirmed the third season on 6 April 2022, and scheduled it to be aired on November 25, 2022, on Netflix.
