Written by Ron Carroll and Amy Hosking, Blown Away is a reality glassblowing competition television series, made for Makeful. Mark J. W. Bishop and Matt Hornburg are the executive producers of the show.
The first season of the show premiered on February 20, 2019 followed by the second season on January 22, 2021. It received positive reviews from critics and audiences, and currently holds an approval rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. The makers have already renewed the series for a third season.

Blown Away Format and Cast
The contestants on Blown Away includes 10 glassblowers. Katherine Gray, an artist and associate professor at California State University, San Bernardino is the chief judge, and Nick Uhas, a former Big Brother USA contestant and science YouTuber, hosts the show.
The winner receives a prize package worth the equivalent of $60,000, including an artist residency at the Corning Museum of Glass. The first season was filmed in a converted warehouse in Hamilton, Ontario, a facility that was “custom-built to accommodate 10 glass blowers working simultaneously”.
The show was presented by Nick Uhas for the first two seasons and the Christmas special was hosted by Bobby Berk. Uhas is expected to return for the third season, although an official confirmation is awaited.
Blown Away Season 3 Release Date
The latest season of Blown Away premiered in January 2021 and it was later renewed for a third season. The makers have recently confirmed that the third season will premiere on July 22, 2022.
The upcoming season is expected to have ten episodes like the first two seasons. The show is produced by Marblemedia and distributed by Blue Ant Media and Netflix.
