Blue Eye Samurai Season 2: Release Date, Trailer, and more!

Created by Amber Noizumi and Michael Green, Blue Eye Samurai is an adult animated action television series. Noizumi and Green are also the executive producers of the alongside Erwin Stoff.

The series was co-produced and animated by French studio Blue Spirit. The developers have renewed the series for a new season which will be released soon.

Blue Eye Samurai Plot and Cast

Director and producer Jane Wu stated in a conversation with Variety that the show will continue with more focus in London. She said that the script is not ready yet but they are going to explore a new place depending on the budget and schedule. The plot is not over yet and there are a lot of things that can be explored in the upcoming seasons considering the end of Season 1. Mizu is supposedly traveling to London after sparing the main villain Abijah Fowler and she is trying to hunt for the remaining traffickers Skeffington and Routey. There is a possibility that Fowler and Mizu might face each other again.

This is an animated series so, the series has voice artists including Maya Erskine as Mizu, Masi Oka as Ringo, Darren Barnet as Taigen, Brenda Song as Princess Akemi, George Takei as Seki, Randall Park as Heiji Shindo, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Master Eiji, Kenneth Branagh as Abijah Fowler, Stephanie Hsu as Ise, and more.

Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 Release Date

The first episode of the series debuted on November 1, 2023, followed by the entire series on November 3. A special version of episode 6 was released on its YouTube channel on November 14, 2023, featuring a largely black-and-white palette and an altered soundtrack.

The developers renewed the series for a second season on December 11, 2023. But have not confirmed any release date for the second season.

The second season of Blue Eye Samurai will be premiered on the same platform where the first season was available. The first season was released on the American streaming service platform Netflix.
