Borderlands’ new and hit update: Cate Blanchett Officially a part of the Film!

The long heard rumor of Cate Blanchett being a part of the upcoming Borderlands film’s adaptation. In fact, Lionsgate has made an official announcement about this rumor-turned-true information.

Also, Eli Roth has stated, “I’m so lucky to have the amazing Cate Blanchett starring in Borderlands. We had the most incredible collaboration together on The House with a Clock in Its Walls, and I believe there’s nothing she can’t do. From drama to comedy and now action, Cate makes every scene sing.”, that was reported by Entertainment Weekly.

The director has also stated that working with Cate has made his dream come true. And the director says with surety that this A-game will definitely have a great future after working with Cate. And that the character that will be created will remain the talk in the gaming industry.

Though Borderlands is one of the top-selling games in the 2K Games, it’s too early for the new character to be termed ‘Iconic’. But of course, Cate is an acclaimed actress with many accolades for her name including the Golden Globes, Academy Awards. She also nailed the summer hits snaps.
