Nintendo may shortly have some news to share after more than a year of absence about the upcoming release of Breath of the Wild 2.
Breath of the Wild is a 2017 Nintendo Switch and Wii U consoles adventure game created and released by Nintendo. The game belongs to the Zelda Legend series and is set at the close of the Zelda timeline.
It was acclaimed for it’s open-ended gameplay and was cited as one of the greatest video games ever. Several awards have been won, including a few games of the year. A sequence was declared at E3 2019.
Release Date
World Trade & Technologies (WT&T) did not announce anything other than the fact that a premium edition of the BotW 2 and its cost will be available. The website listed the release date of the game as of December 31, 2020. Although that is most definitely a placeholder because the store is waiting for Nintendo to announce the final release date of the game, which has not yet been revealed.

What to expect?
The enigmatic BotW 2 trailer that premiered at E3 2019 was the first and only thing Nintendo had announced about Link’s next open-world action. The firm has announced that the title is active in growth, but has not provided any updates since then.
Although Breath of the Wild 2 might be darker in nature. There might be no clear connection between it and the Mask of Majora. However, this does not negate the overtly scary elements that Breath of the Wild 2 has set up. With the latest trailer showing a mangled zombied corpse suddenly waking up. It’s clear that Link and Zelda are going to face something a lot more grisly than Calamity Ganon.
The sequel will be launched under the best-case scenario by late 2020 to help Nintendo fight against the arrival of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Sony’s PlayStation 5. A far more probable fact, though, is that Breath of Wild 2 might be released sometime during 2021 or later.
Zelda’s Legend: Breath of the Wild 2 is among Nintendo Switch’s most highly awaited titles.
