Breeders is an American-British comedy television series on FX. Martin Freeman, Chris Addison and Simon Blackwell have created the series. The series is inspired by Martin Freeman’s own experiences as a parent, as it follows the story of a two parents who struggle with parenthood. Breeders is produced by FX Productions, Avalon Television, and Sky Original Productions. The series premiered in the USA on cable network FX on March 2, 2020. Cast of Breeders Season 2

The series stars Martin Freeman as Paul Worsley, a father to two kids; Daisy Haggard as Ally, Paul’s partner and a mother of two; George Wakeman as Luke, Paul and Ally’s son; Jayda Eyles as Ava, Paul and Ally’s daughter; Michael McKean as Michael, Ally’s estranged father; Stella Gonet as Leah, Ally’s mother; Joanna Bacon as Jackie, Paul’s mother; Alun Armstrong as Jim, Paul’s father; Patrick Baladi as Darren, Paul and Ally’s friend; and Tim Steed as Carl, Paul and Ally’s next-door neighbour. All the members of the main cast are expected to be back for season 2 of Breeders.

Breeders Season 1 – Ratings

The first season of Breeders had ten episodes, premiering on March 2, 2020, and ending on April 27, 2020. The series premiere had a demo rating of 0.12 in the 18-49 demographic, and 328,000 viewers in total. Overall, the first season of Breeders averaged a demo rating of 0.09 in the 18-49 demographic, and an average of 237,000 viewers, across its ten episode run.

The first season has an average Tomatometer score of 83%, and a 7.2 rating on IMDb.

On its renewal for a second season, series co-creator and starrer Martin Freeman had this to say-

Release Date of Breeders Season 2

The first season of Breeders premiered in March 2020, so it only makes sense for the second season to premiere in March 2021. Although there has been no official release date announced for the premiere of the second season yet, in all likelihood, it will debut in the month of March in 2021. The current pandemic might affect production of the second season, and there has been no trailer released for the second season as well.
