Britannia Season 4: Release Date, Plot, and more!

Created by Jez Butterworth, Tom Butterworth, and James Richardson, Britannia is a historical fantasy drama television show. The show was the first co-production between Sky and Amazon Prime Video and premiered on Sky Atlantic in the UK beginning 18 January 2018 and on Amazon Prime Video in the US beginning 26 January 2018.

The second season of the series premiered on November 7, 2019. In June 2020, U.S. premium network Epix announced it would partner with Sky to produce the third series. It would also air the first series beginning August 2, 2020, and the second series beginning October 4, 2020.

Britannia Plot and Cast

In the third season, we saw that things were heading in pretty rough directions. Though the creators can express and resolve all the past conflicts, things have been moving forward.

We saw that Cait was suddenly seeing Veran and another druid in her dreams. She later finds out about her vision and ignores it. She went back to Roman Camo and met the soldiers.

Moreover, she finds out everything that happened between the time she wasn’t there. She meets Lucius, who tells her about the spear but later he was killed by Hample. Later, Hample also suicides and kills himself.

In the upcoming season, we will be getting more interesting things. While there have been certain things that are left on cliffhangers and fans have expected lit with the storyline.

Now coming to the cast, includes David Morrissey as Aulus Plautius, Hugo Speer as Lucius, Daniel Caltagirone as Brutus, Aaron Pierre as Antonius, and Zaqi Ismail as Philo.

We will also get to see Gershwyn Eustache Jnr as Vitus, Sophie Okonedo as Hemple, Callie Cooke as Islene, Zoë Wanamaker as Queen Antedia, and many more.

Britannia Season 4 Release Date

The creators and the heads of the series are yet to deliver the official piece that will announce the potential release of the show. We can expect it in late 2023 or 2024.

Since each season has a different number of episodes so it is very hard to predict season 4. Further details related to the third season are yet to be revealed by the makers.
