Written and directed by Jarand Herdal, Cadaver is an upcoming Netflix Original film, it is the first-ever Norwegian film to be networked by Netflix. The film is an absolute blend of psychological thriller and horror, it is set in a post-apocalyptic world, after a nuclear disaster. We have seen a lot of films set in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster, but after taking a look at the trailer of the film you will realize that this film combines all the elements to elevate the genre to it’s highest point.

Release Date and Trailer:

Cadaver is all set to debut globally on Thursday, October 22 2020, only on Netflix. Set your reminder, you do not want to miss this film.

Take a look at the trailer below:

The Plot and Cast of the film:

The official synopsis of Cadaver goes like “In the starving aftermath of a nuclear disaster, Leonora (Gitte Witt), Jacob (Thomas Gullestad) and their daughter Alice (Tuva Olivia Remman) are on the edge of survival. One day, the local hotel invites survivors to attend a theatre play, with a meal included, as a charitable effort to help those in need. Left with no choice, the family of three decide to go to the hotel, where the director, Mathias (Thorbjørn Harr), introduces the entire hotel as the stage. Attendees are given masks to help separate them from actors, but the play takes an eerie turn when audience members start to disappear. The line between reality and theatre quickly gets blurred, until Alice disappears in front of Leo and Jacob, and there’s no longer room for doubt: Something is very wrong with Mathias’ hotel.”

Along with Gitte Witt,Thomas Gullestad and Thorbjørn Harr, we will also get to see Maria Grazia De Meo, Trine Wiggen, Bente Børsum, Jonathan Rodriguez, Stig Frode Henriksen and Helge Jordal.

Do not forget to add Cadaver to your playlist this Halloween season!
