Created by Darlene Hunt, Call Me Kat is an American television sitcom largely based on the British sitcom Miranda by Miranda Hart. Hunt is also an executive producer of the show along with Mayim Bialik, Jim Parsons, Todd Spiewak, Miranda Hart, Angie Stephenson, Beth McCarthy-Miller, and Alissa Neubauer.

The series premiered on Fox as a midseason entry in the 2020–21 television season on January 3, 2021. In May 2022, the series was renewed for a third season scheduled to premiere soon.

The makers have not revealed what would happen in Season 3 but the upcoming season is definitely scheduled to continue from where the second season ended.

The show’s basic premise follows a 39-year-old single woman named Kat who struggles every day against society and her mother to prove that one cannot have everything he or she wants yet still be happy. After leaving her job as a professor at the University of Louisville, she spends the money her parents set aside for her wedding to open a cat café in Louisville.

Talking about the cast for Season 3, we should get to see Mayim Bialik, Swoosie Kurtz, Leslie Jordan, Kyla Pratt, Julian Gant, Cheyenne Jackson, and others in the lead roles. Since it is a new season, we can expect to see some new faces.

The second season of Call Me Kat was released in January 2022 and ended in May 2022. The third season has been now confirmed to premiere on September 29, 2022.
