Call of Duty Warzone: 8 Battle Royale Tips for Beginners

Published

on

When one talks about the first-person shooter gaming genre, the conversion would obviously turn to one of the most successful franchises in this category as well as in gaming history, and that franchise is Call of Duty. Call of Duty has been releasing innovative, trendsetting games since 2003, which are considered by industry experts as the golden standard in the first-person shooter battle royale genre. But while they are the gold standard, it does not mean they offer a beginner-friendly experience. Call of Duty: Warzone has a steep learning curve, and you cannot just negate it by using Aimclub hacks.

Here are some battle royale tips for beginners in Call of Duty: Warzone.

  1. Communicate with your teammates effectively.

A common mistake made by beginner players is that they do not put too much stock in communicating with their teammates for any reason. Now while in other games you could get away with, that is not the case at Call of Duty: Warzone, as an enemy squad can easily pick you out. Even while attacking an enemy position, it would be suicidal to do so without cover fire.

  1. Split the cash with your teammates

Now, you must be wondering why one should do that; it is already hard enough for one to get enough loot, sharing would not be the smart thing to do. But, in fact, it is a smart strategy as in Call of Duty: Warzone; your teammates can revive you with cash by buying redeployment from the nearest Buy Station.

  1. Everything is not as it sounds.

It is quite common for beginners of the game to get confused with the term ‘killstreaks’ in Call of Duty: Warzone. In fact, in Call of Duty: Warzone, killstreaks are anything but killstreaks. They are a misnomer as you do not earn killstreaks but buy them at Buy Station, or you can even loot them from a downed player, but they are not something you earn by killing enemy combatants.

‘Killstreaks’ plays a crucial role in the game and can easily turn the tide in a second. But one must know which killstreaks are right for them at any given moment.

  1. Suit up

It is as the saying goes, a good attack will win you a battle, a great defense will win you the war; it is applicable in Call of Duty: Warzone as well. It would be best if you did your utmost to protect yourself, especially from being one-shotted. In Call of Duty: Warzone, players can equip themselves with three plates, boosting their health bar from 100 HP to 250 HP. But that is not all; you can add plates in your inventory as well to use later if required.

  1. Be careful with vehicles.

Not it would be an obvious suggestion for everyone who has ever played a first-person shooter battle royale game, as any gamer would understand how easy it is for enemy combatants to maul you down with their vehicle. But in Call of Duty: Warzone, you have to be careful even when you are on board the vehicle and are the one doing the mauling. It would be easy for enemy combatants to spot you and your teammates if you are in a vehicle, and they can easily take you out because of that. Stay away from crowded/ urban areas if you are in a vehicle, as a sniper can easily take you out.

  1. Death is not the end.

In other first-person shooter games, if you are dead, that is the end of your journey, and you have to start from the very beginning, but that is not the case with Call of Duty: Warzone. In Call of Duty: Warzone, you can either be revived by your teammates or you can win the deathmatch against another player in the Gulag. If you are victorious, you will be revived in the gameplay.

  1. Play plunder

In Call of Duty: Warzone, greed is not only good but great for your gameplay. In Plunder, a mode offered in Call of Duty: Warzone, you can easily increase your cash count but looting as much as you want in this mode. In this mode, the team that plunders the most wins the round, so, obviously, it is a mode that is the favorite of many players of the game.

  1. Complete your contracts

In Call of Duty: Warzone, there is a special feature aptly named contracts, which any player can take out. There are numerous contracts for one to choose from according to their skill level, which pays out handsomely. It would be beneficial for beginners to take low-level contracts in the beginning not only to get cash rewards but also to get familiar with the gameplay.

While it may seem a steep learning curve for beginners to even get competent in Call of Duty: Warzone, you will raise your skill manifold by following the tips mentioned earlier in the letter.
