Call of Duty: Warzone, a Battle Royale game, will be on PS5 and Xbox Series X soon

The Call of Duty: Warzone was first released on the 10th of March 2020 and it is a free-to-play Battle Royale video game on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It turned out to be a great hit and in the past 2 months since its release, the game was downloaded by around 50 million people and the trend doesn’t seem to fall in the near future. Nevertheless, the flaw of hacking needs to be kept under control for better comfort.

Taylor Kurosaki, the studio narrative director at Infinity Ward said, “I know that our plan Warzone is going to be around for quite some time, so as soon as those new systems are out and available. I’m sure we’ll support them.”, in a recent interview. So, the game can be witnessed on the next-gen consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Also, the reason for the great hit could be the rope that bonded Modern Warfare and Call of Duty Mobile, which interested a lot of gamers. Under the Call of Duty banner, players can jump between three games that in turn allows a cross-progression and cross-promotion. Also, since all the three don’t need a purchase to play the game, it gathered even more players.

Apart from this, it is also said that Fortnite and Apex Legends will be available in the next-gen consoles. But it is still a question whether these developers will build a new idea or formula this time or will work with the old one to attract players to their games. But as a matter of fact, the Warzone has a good future sensing the veins of interests the players have.
