Captain America arriving in Fortnite! Fortniters Assemble!

The v13.20 update has a new skin in it. Any guesses? It’s none other than our Captain, Captain America. This time he is coming to Fortnite!

While Aquaman bagged the spotlight for DC as the mystery skin of this season. For Marvel, Captain America will be joining the event. This is an amazing addition to the game and one that we wouldn’t expect until beginning Chapter 2 Season 4.

Captain Arrives

You can buy it from Fortnite’s item shop. Even the new skin comes with some traditional back bling and a new form of harvesting tool that is very different from anything used before in Fortnite. Captain America’s skin costs 2,000 V-bucks (roughly $20) from the in-game Fortnite store. When you buy the mask, you’ll even get the famous shield from Captain America.

There’s also an emote, Captain America-themed fireworks that might be fun to launch. Users can celebrate Independence Day on Fortnite Island the coming weekend. The emote costs 300 V-dollars.

Cap comes with a trusty shield that can be used as a Back Bling or Pickaxe. Also, he will arrive with the emote Grand Salute.

Fortnite has a long tradition of selling skins based on characters from popular comic books. Deadpool was available as part of the battle pass last season. Hopefully, Aquaman will be downloadable as part of the battle pass this season. Marvel’s Black Widow and Star-Lord were both sold by Epic Games as part of last season’s Avengers crossover and X-Force skins.

Epic has also been selling DC skins featuring Harley Quinn, Batman, and Catwoman.

Captain America costume only comes in one style: Cap’s edition with the full hat and half-mask. This means whether you’re a Steve Rogers fan with his mask off, showing those delectable blonde locks, you’re out of luck until Epic adds a different look in the future.

The costume of Captain America will appear in the store from July 4th to mark Independence Day.
