Carnival Row is an American neo-noir fantasy web television series. René Echevarria and Travis Beacham are the creators of this show. The show premiered on Amazon Prime Video on August 30, 2019. The series stars Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, Simon McBurney, Tamzin Merchant. It also stars David Gyasi, Andrew Gower, Karla Crome, Arty Froushan, Indira Varma, and Jared Harris.

Most of the people who watched the show thoroughly enjoyed it. The show has 93% likes on Google and a rating of 7.9/10 on IMDb. This show is considered as one of those shows that hook you in completely and makes you want to watch all the episodes in one go. Many people stated that this show is a must-watch.

WHAT IS CARNIVAL ROW ABOUT?

According to Google, “A growing population of mythological immigrant creatures struggles to coexist with humans after the creatures’ exotic homelands are invaded by the empires of man. The creatures are forbidden to live, love or fly with freedom, but hope lives in darkness. Human detective Rycroft “Philo” Philostrate and a refugee faerie, Vignette Stonemoss, rekindle a dangerous affair despite being in an increasingly intolerant society. Vignette has a secret that endangers Philo’s world during his most important case yet — a string of gruesome murders threatening the uneasy peace of the Row.”

CARNIVAL ROW: CAST

The main cast for this show includes Orlando Bloom as Rycroft Philostrate (“Philo”) and Cara Delevingne as Vignette Stonemoss. We can also see Simon McBurney as Runyon Millworthy, David Gyasi as Agreus Astrayon and Tamzin Merchant as Imogen Spurnrose. Andrew Gower portrays the role of Ezra Spurnrose whereas Karla Crome portrays the role of Tourmaline Larou. We can also see Jared Harris act as Absalom Breakspear, Arty Froushan as Jonah Breakspear and Indira Varma as Piety Breakspear.

CARNIVAL ROW SEASON 2: RELEASE DATE

Amazon renewed Carnival Row for a second season in July 2019. The makers of this show did not waste any time and immediately started filming it. However, the pandemic did put the production on hold. They resumed filming in May 2020 and if everything goes smoothly, we will be able to see the next season sometime in 2021.
