CastleStorm 2 – Release Date Trailer and Gameplay!

CastleStorm is a game that Zen Studios created in 2013. It was created for Windows, PS3, PS4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. A remastered edition entitled CastleStorm: Remastered Edition, and a free-to-play mobile game, CastleStorm: Free to Siege was released in 2014. A sequel, CastleStorm 2 is expected in 2020.

CastleStorm 2 ramps up the biggest genre mishmash in gaming with brutal devastation driven by Unreal 4, plus a whole new metagame in tactical strategic conquest.

Release Date

The game has a real release date. That date is July 31, and on Windows, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo, CastleStorm II will be available. A brand new trailer has been launched to mark the latest ones.

Gameplay

CastleStorm II returns to a classic medieval fantasy land of chaos, rife with valiant warriors, enchanting goblins, majestic griffins, and pigs.

Yet a new challenge is growing – literally as in, out of the grave. Walking bodies. Headless caballots. ZOMBIE ovine. Necromancy all-around and mean. The developers planned 6 narrative campaigns: each one reveals a tale about another character.

The Kingdom’s warriors battle the foul armies of the Dead, and in two spectacular story-driven campaigns you’ll plan your road to victory on both sides. Yet not without any wild, hands-on mayhem and wonderful destruction!

Create a whole empire through gameplay that activates your internal hardcore strategist. Then even control your soldiers on the way to victory!

There’s also a randomly created 4x style map where players build their castles, extend their territories, and try to destroy the enemies that get in the way. You’re going to be able to aim ballistics at the enemy fortifications and the enemies themselves as they rush through the gates.

Once, the players have a competitive and cooperative multiplayer mode at their fingertips that embrace cross-platform functionalities. In multiplayer mode, one must stand up to fight against another player as well as protect itself against challenges posed by an enemy of the game.
