They risk their lives to save and protect the civilians of Chicago.
What is the show about? Will we be having another episode of Season 9? If we are, when is it going to come out? Is it worth watching? Well, you gotta keep on reading more to find out! So, let us get started! Here are the answers to your questions!
What is the show Chicago Fire about?
Chicago Fire explores the professional as well as personal lives of the firefighters, rescue personnel and paramedics of the Chicago Fire Department at the quarters of Engine Company 51, Truck Company 81, Rescue Squad Company 3, Battalion 25, and Ambulance 61.
After the death of veteran Firefighter Andrew Darden, officer-in-charge of Truck Company 81 and officer-in-charge of Squad Company 3 blame each other for the death of their friend and colleague. Darden’s wife also blames him for the tragedy. Despite their differences, the firehouse comes together after the near death of Truck Company 81 Firefighter Christopher Hermann.
Hermann nearly dies again after being stabbed by a friend of one of the firefighters. Later, Casey nearly loses his life while on a fire call and distances himself from his friends and colleagues but eventually becomes close to them.
New to the station is Firefighter Candidate Peter Mills, the candidate assigned to Truck Company 81, who is following in the footsteps of his late father and trying to find his place over the objections of his mother. Later, he leaves Chicago and is not seen again afterwards.
Alongside the firefighters are paramedics Gabriela Dawson and Leslie Shay. Dawson leaves Chicago after the sixth-season finale, but briefly returns in the seventh-season premiere. She is seen again in the eighth season.
Under the leadership of 25th Battalion Chief Wallace Boden, the firehouse family faces life or death decisions every day. But they treat each other like family, looking out for each other no matter what happens.
