The brand new season 2 of City on a Hill has been announced by Showtime. We have some more details regarding the second season!
When will the new season arrive?
The upcoming second season is now on its way to make the audience fall in love all over again with the show. However, the confirmed date has not been provided yet by Showtime. The first season was launched on June 16 in the year 2019. It was available in September 2019 in the place of the UK. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the date of the second season has not been finalized yet.
The cast of City on a Hill season 2
The audience is expecting Bacon to return and play his role as a corrupt FBI agent named Jackie Rohr. Also, Aldis Hodge can come back too with Jonathon Tucker as Frankie Ryan, Mark O’Brien was seen as Jimmy Ryan. Also, many other actors are not expected to return in the second series. These actors are probably Rory Culkin, Cathy Moriarty, and Michael McManus.
Plot for the new season
The main focus of the show would be on a different Boston neighbor as it was in the last season. The show will revolve around a federal housing project in the place of Roxbury. This place is filled with drug violence along with rightful distrust in local law enforcement. Pernell Walker would join Bacon and Hodge in the cast, playing the role of Grace Campbell whose efforts are undermined by gang activities. The personal feud of causing collateral damages to the project’s residents is continued between Rohr and Ward. After the realization of Ward that Rohr is attempting to damage Boston’s defective criminal justice system for his benefit, their battle leads to an all-out war between the offices of U.S Attorney and the Suffolk DA.
